circa 1856, with 5 5/8in. semi-octagonal barrel, bead fore-sight, the left hand top-flat with London proofs and stamped 'L.A.C.', plain top-strap with notch rear-sight to top of standing breech, plain five-shot cylinder, two-piece frame construction marked 'KERR'S PATENT', coarsely chequered walnut grip with back-action lock inlet to the right hand side signed 'LONDON ARMOURY CO.', side hammer, lanyard ring at heel, single action trigger (at fault) and hinged under-barrel loading lever, stripped of finish with mild staining
